Dawn Loren Saunders is a retired elementary school teacher who educated students for 34 years until she retired in 2019. She still has a passion for education, learning new skills, golf and traveling the world.
She is a graduate with a baccalaureate of science degree in early childhood education from Long Island University and a master’s degree in urban studies and ESOL (English speakers of other languages) from Florida International University.
Her career started out in Brooklyn, New York in the private sector and then transitioned to the public education system in South Florida. Dawn also worked at the college level preparing ESOL students with writing, speaking and time-management skills.
She currently resides in South Florida close to her daughter, Alexandria, and her son, John-David, and his family.
